11:37 am: Bowling for Columbine
Had such a great romantic weekend with my hubby. We went to Noosa and stayed right near the Noosa River. I made a special curry as a surprise for him and I don't mind saying it but it was bloody good. All those evenings sitting down watching Jamie Oliver have paid off!!!

Had an absolute DVD fest over the past couple of nights, and saw some brilliant movies: The Salton Sea (Val Kilmer) this was an awesome movie not really a huge fan of Val but he was bloody brilliant in this movie.

Also watched the Hours - don't really understand why everybody raved on about this movie. I thought it was pretty crap!! Nicole Kidman was good in it though.

Bowling for Columbine - for anybody who hasn't seen this movie/documentary it's a must. I thought it was brilliant. Shows how screwed up and mental the americans are (sounds a bit like my family)about their guns.

Speaking of family. Just when I thought everthing was going calm. My f*cked up uncle decides to do one of his Houdini's. My hubby was listening to his music with his headphones on when my uncle (not that he deserves to be called an uncle) just walks straight into my house without knocking to give some video's back and to get his cd's. He then brought up the fact (just out of the blue, you know the usual shit stiring crap) that he thinks i'm a liar and I shouldn't be trusted. My hubby told me he felt like punching his lights out but said that my uncle is too much of a physco and would probably come back with his beloved cooking knife. R just said that he wasn't interested and then he left but as my uncle was leaving he was still going on about i'm a liar etc.
I just have to say that I am so relieved I don't have to have any more to do with him he's an embarrassment to the family. My life has been soo much better with out them interferring. Quite tempted to put a bike chain on the fence.

02:59 pm: Another Day Another Dollar
Well as predicted my day has been shit!!!

Simple and plain Shit!!!! I'm working in a department that has no people skills whatsoever. It took my half the day to realise that the person I am working for is away, the secretary next to me is not actually a secretary and that if I wanted to have a lunch hour it's not a good idea to sit at my desk (thanks to this guy who looks like Mr Bean, who had me crawling around in a dusty filing compactus looking for a file that was in fact in his office the whole time) AGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I just hope that tomorrow is a better day. There is always hope.

On a better note I have been a very good girl I have not sucumbed to the vending machine that faces me and is emblazoned with the words "MARS" ummmmmm mars bar ummmmmm. must control myself.
I have had my salad sandwich which my lovely huby made for me and I have had 2 cups of Calendular tea. I have also had my vitamins and other tablets that my mum has given me (she's a naturopath, herbal doctor).

Apart from my pee being bright fluorescent yellow i'm feeling quite energetic and healthy. This is the start of the new me. Fit and healthy no more junk food!!!!!

10:01 am: Fun & Games
Oh what a day i'm having already.

I'm at work and it's Billing Day!!! Plus my bosses expect me to train up a new lady who is starting today!!!! ARGHHHH!!!!! Yes i'm an octopus I can do everything!!!!

Tomorrow is my last day working in this boring department (I work for a Corporate Law Firm as a Float Secretary, but I've been working in this current department for about 6 months, and it's boring me to tears). I'll be working in the Banking and Finance Department for 2 days and then downstairs in Property for a week (something which I've dreaded since I have been here because there is this bloke down there that has a reputation for making people cry).

What is it with bosses who treat their secretaries like shit. They treat them like shit then the secretary either gets fired because she has stuck up for herself or she quits the job. Maybe these bosses should be fired!!! If I was in charge of a company and a certain boss had gone through 3 or more secretaries in a year because they weren't happy I would send that particular boss on a "People Skills Course".

Anyway I'm going to write some more later. See how the day enfolds.

10:20 am: Teenage Angst Brigade
Well happy campers yesterday was a weird day. The weather didn't know if it wanted to rain, hail or shine. I love it when the weather is like that. It's days like that when you can snuggle up on your couch and watch Farscape DVDs.

I have finished watching season 1 and I have to say that I'm looking forward to watching the next season.

I'm feeling kinda nerdy today. I've got heaps of homework to do. I'm studying grade 12 by correspondence. I left high school in the middle of grade 11. I hated school mainly because I hated people, you know the whole Teenage Angst crap (black eyeliner and complete attitude problem). If there was a chance to cause havoc at school I was always there and 9/10 I was the creator of the havoc. hehehehe I was a bad child mooowhoooohaaaaaa (Dr Evil laugh).

I'm going to nag my aunty for the next season of Farscape once I've woken up properly. I just love Scorpy, he's one bad mutha fu*c#er!!!!.

Well I'll write some more later.

catch ya all later
luv

08:30 pm: Take 2 - Welcome home Daddy!!
Well now that my dear aunty has shown me how to use this Live Journal properly I thought I'd have another go of my entry for today.

I'm completely chilled out now, after the whole awkard scenario i was faced with at my parents place, don't you just hate those moments?? You know when your sat there and you say something that you think is really funny and they look at you like you've just been beamed down from another planet. Well I managed two of those looks today. Can't even remember what it was I said, probably something about nipples or farts, always is with me.

My hubby is getting all pysched up about his DJ night. He will be djying at a night club in town (it's something he's been wanting to do for ages). His night is called FunkbeatsJazz. He has even made it into the local Music magazine. I'm quite proud of him.

I really want to jazz my journal up, put some icons of Daniel Johns (ummmmm tasty) and Bam Margera (oooohhhhh yeah baby), but I think I'm only limited to what i've got cos i've not paid for an account. Does anybody know if i'm able to put icons on??? I'm going to go on ebay in a second, I want to see if there are any Scorpy (or is it spelt Scorpie) figurine, or maybe a Zhaan figurine. I've bought so much off ebay lately, I've got to calm down, it's sort of like a gambling obsession. I really wanted this Silverchair animated cell (off their "luv your life"video) and I put $80 down for a bid, then 2 days later I checked to see how my bid was doing and somebody had bidded $150, I was going ummmmm maybe i could put $150.50 but I quickly snapped out of it and realised that it was only a piece of plastic with a cartoon picture on it. The Animated Cell was sold for $450 in the end.

Well everybody, I'll be back tomorrow with more news from the Xgirl files.

luv to ya all

07:33 pm: Welcome home daddy!!!
Well what can I say, I was really looking forward to catching up with my dad, because he's been away in the USA meeting up with his real father for the first time (it a really long story, but i'll explain some other day). So I went around full of questions to be answered. I don't now if it was the jet lag or if he was in one of his "Everybody do as I say" moods, but I wasn't impressed and I made it quite clear to him and everybody in the room that I was disgusted by his immature behaviour.

My throat is feeling a lot better today, I still had the day off work though. Seemed a bit pointless going in today because tomorrow is a bank holiday.

I'm up to Season 1 "nerve". I'm really getting drawn in. I absolutely love Zhaan, I wish I could have the same temprament as her, she is one chilled out chickie.

well I'll catch you all later

I just had creepy crawlie on my tittie and my aunty flicked it off (I do have a shirt on) hehehe. It looked like an alien critter. I'm not a huge fan of critters, they give me the heebie jeebies. or should I say the "Woodies" .

ciao

02:27 pm: Curious Cat
I've recently been introduced to the world of Farscape by my Auntie (who's completely obsessed by it, which is a good thing because I think obsessions are healthy, well passionate obsessions that is) anyhow, so I've been watching these Farscape DVDs and have found myself completely drawn in. I'm already wishing i was home right this very minute snuggled up on my couch with my blanky and my hubby and mellowing out watching the best Sci Fi I have ever seen.

I had always been curious as to why my Auntie was so into Farscape, and no that I have a DVD Player (so that I can watch them) I understand why.

I have also just been promoted in my job (thank god), I was starting to feel like I wanted to quit. It was getting pretty mundane, same agenda every day, and my boss was a complete boring old fart, with no humor whatsoever.

I am also coming down with a cold/flu. My throat feels like a Bombay alleyway and my nose is running like a tap. (poor old me,i'm feeling very sorry for myself today). I've just had a Seafood Laksa with heaps of chilli paste, so that I can hopefully shift it. Nothing worse than having a cold. Lets see how I feel tomorrow, hopefully a little bit more cheerful and alot less suicidal (extreme exaggeration)
