: Bowling for Columbine
Had such a great romantic weekend with my hubby. We went to Noosa and stayed right near the Noosa River. I made a special curry as a surprise for him and I don't mind saying it but it was bloody good. All those evenings sitting down watching Jamie Oliver have paid off!!!
Had an absolute DVD fest over the past couple of nights, and saw some brilliant movies: The Salton Sea (Val Kilmer) this was an awesome movie not really a huge fan of Val but he was bloody brilliant in this movie.
Also watched the Hours - don't really understand why everybody raved on about this movie. I thought it was pretty crap!! Nicole Kidman was good in it though.
Bowling for Columbine - for anybody who hasn't seen this movie/documentary it's a must. I thought it was brilliant. Shows how screwed up and mental the americans are (sounds a bit like my family)about their guns.
Speaking of family. Just when I thought everthing was going calm. My f*cked up uncle decides to do one of his Houdini's. My hubby was listening to his music with his headphones on when my uncle (not that he deserves to be called an uncle) just walks straight into my house without knocking to give some video's back and to get his cd's. He then brought up the fact (just out of the blue, you know the usual shit stiring crap) that he thinks i'm a liar and I shouldn't be trusted. My hubby told me he felt like punching his lights out but said that my uncle is too much of a physco and would probably come back with his beloved cooking knife. R just said that he wasn't interested and then he left but as my uncle was leaving he was still going on about i'm a liar etc.
I just have to say that I am so relieved I don't have to have any more to do with him he's an embarrassment to the family. My life has been soo much better with out them interferring. Quite tempted to put a bike chain on the fence.
Families...who needs them
